Dating Amber is a touching, honest, and hilarious look at the highs and lows of adolescent life, when the only way to fit in is to be someone you're not, even if it goes against your very nature. Eddie and Amber (both 17) are in the closet about their sexuality in Ireland during the mid-1990s and plan to stage a romance to keep everyone guessing. Eddie aspires to join the military like his father, while Amber fantasizes of relocating to London's liberal heart.
