The holiday season has come. When a young girl and her parents walk into the room, the young girl discovers a plethora of toys under the Christmas Tree. As soon as she sees her old doll, she throws it away and begins playing with her new dolls. However, she had a dream that night. Is it a dream, or is it not... MGM remade the picture for American audiences by replacing the delightful score with an overblown Hollywood concoction, inserting an American-style Santa Claus into the video [...], and giving the doll a pip-squeaky voice, among other changes.
