A Letter to Momo

Clinging into a bare letter compiled by her deceased dad, young mo mo moves with her mother by bustling Tokyo into Shio's Japanese island. She starts to explore her new habitat, learning customs and their own routines and meeting local kiddies. However, it isn't long until the previously tranquil island is cropped around by several events. Orchards prized trinkets start disappearing are found ransacked and, most bizarre of all, each morning after her mother leaves for work, mo mo hears strange mumblings originating from the attic of the dwelling. Annoyed by those creepy goings on and also her mum's refusal to think them, mo mo embarks on a strange and supernatural experience to detect the foundation of the mischief, that leads her to a trio of annoying imps: the flatulent lizard Kawa, the childlike Mame and their hulking ogre leader Iwa. Mo-mo also learns her visit to the island is in a way connected to her dad's mysterious correspondence.
