Backyard Ashes

Dougie Waters loves nothing longer than cricket match and the usual weekend barbie with his or her teammates. But his paradise on the planet is destroyed when neighbour Norm and his best partner is made to leave their new supervisor moves in. Once Dougie hits a ball that stuns Edward's award-winning cat, Dexter the animosity between the two men peaks during one backyard cricket match. The cat is instantly incinerated, leaving only ashes and falls to the BBQ that is roaring. Dougie's son catches footage of this event on camera plus it is uploaded onto YouTube where the video extends viral! The notion of an outdoor cricketing challenge is snatched, together with the winner keeping the ashes of Edward's dead cat cat, Dexter. The two teams battle it out in the greatest game of backyard cricket for the Garden Ashes.
