Fly Me to Polaris

A young guy who is blind and deaf finds work in a hospital as an audio tape typewriter. At the same time, he is cultivating a loving and honest relationship with a stunning nurse who prefers to keep to herself. He is the sixty billionth human being to die on earth when he is hit by a car, and he is on transit to Polaris, en route to a yet more advanced form of existence in Vega. When he is killed, he is on his way to Vega. Even though he has been granted a short reprieve of five days and the opportunity to be reunited with the woman he loves on earth, he is not permitted to reveal his true identity to her behind the temporary facade that he is required to portray to her. Both the boy and the girl, in the end, come to understand, through a series of challenging and amazing occurrences, that love and good things always find a way to seep into people's life when those people are not greedy and least expect these benefits to arrive.
