Lost in White

Lost in White takes places from China's northeast, where two bodies have been found under the ice of a frozen river, their remains left unidentifiable by freshwater fish, but bearing the mark of having been hauled having an ice hook. In control of the evaluation is Captain Zhou (Tony Leung Ka Fai), a dedicated cop who is pulling his teenaged daughter Xinyi (Zhou Dongyu). Soon he's joined by Wang Hao (Tong Dawei) a new Shanghai detective who is on a missing person case which has led him into the very same village where the murders happened. The two cases prove to be connected: the lost person and the two victims were part of a quartet of individuals who years ago opened a refinery in the region, also discarded chemical waste in an unethical manner that has poisoned the seas and contributed to malformed babies in the subsequent decade.
