Lowriders vs Zombies from Space

In the city of San Antonio, Texas, a humorous sci-fi/horror film called Lowriders vs. Zombies from Space is set in the world of the title. In the spirit of iconic low-budget "B" movies from the 1980s through 1990s, but with an updated perspective, this film is set in the present day. Following a group of pals and lowriders throughout the day as they prepare to attend a dance that evening, the story follows them. During the dance, a weird alien material is introduced, which infects numerous people, turning them into alien zombies as a result of their infection. All hell breaks loose both inside and outside of the dance hall following that momentous occasion. Lowriders must fend off the deadly invasion of these alien undead by utilizing their most valuable resource: their automobiles.
