Monster Beach

A routine summer vacation takes a turn for the worse when two children-Jan and her brother Dean-are sent to stay with their drop-out uncle, Woody. It should be the epitome of paradise: a remote island, incredible surf, and a laid-back adult in control. What could be more ideal? However, why is this location so deserted? Why has the town become infested by jungle, and what are those strange sounds emanating from the beach? The horrifying truth is revealed when it is revealed that the locals are in fact surf-crazed monsters who are not fond of tourists. To begin with, that is. Everything changes when a marauding property developer arrives. Sibling rivalry and genetic differences vanish as everyone rallies to rescue the peculiar small spot they've all come to call home.
