Ninth Happiness

Choi Hung village is full with children who sing and work. Chi Wan, the town beauty, falls in love with a stranger in the woods, believing him to be a fairy. He pursues her while concealing his true identity, seeking counsel from her sister, Heung, who advises he purchase Chi Wan a fan. Chi Wan and Heung's lover, Dup, mistakenly believe the stranger and Heung are romantically linked, and jealousy ensues. Two brothers, the new town official and his rough enforcer, are also new in town; they can't believe there's no graft and corruption to profit from, so they try to open a whorehouse. They are also looking for Chi Wan. Is it possible to resolve everything? Will innocence triumph? And who exactly is this stranger?
