Sam has a tendency to make the wrong choice on a regular basis. He's a convicted computer hacker who's unmarried, jaded, and can't access the internet because of his sentence. Forcing him to take up residence on his brother's couch, he makes ends meet by working at the local Twistee Treat and stealing mail while dressing in the disguise of a postal employee. Everything is turned upside down by a single pink envelope. Sam is moved by a tender letter written by Josie to her late husband, a fallen Marine. The letter is handwritten and addressed to Sam. He conspires to meet the lovely, young war widow who longs to become a better man in order to be worthy of such love. He is desperate to be worthy of such love. As the two of them become closer, she begins to warm to the thought of a second chance at love, but not before Sam's history comes knocking in the form of an FBI agent on the hunt for missing bitcoin.
