The First Time

After graduating from high school, three high school friends, Kenny Leeds, Mike Decker, and Tommy Kingsley, are looking forward to their initiation into the pleasures and responsibilities of manhood. While his widowed father departs on a business trip with his secretary-fiancee, Kenny is separated from his buddies and sent to live with his grandparents in Buffalo. This is the first time Kenny has been removed from his friends. After becoming bored and alone in an unfamiliar place, Kenny writes letters to his two buddies describing his escapades at "Rosie's," a fictional brothel just across the Canadian border in Niagara Falls. The letters are sent to their respective addresses in the United States. Severe consequences follow from his deception.
