Aladdin
Aladdin is an animated television set made by Walt Disney Television which aired from 1994 to 1995, primarily founded on the 1992 feature. It had been animated at Penrose, Auckland, New Zealand at the Slightly Offbeat Productions Studios. Coming on the heels of the sequel The Return of Jafar, the show acquired where that installation left off, together with Aladdin surviving in the palace, participated to spunky and amazing Princess Jasmine. "Al" and Jasmine went together into peril among sorcerers, monsters, thieves, plus much more. Monkey side kick Abu, the animated Magic Carpet, and the fast-talking, shape-shifting Genie came together to help, as did whining parrot Iago, once Jafar's pet but currently an antihero. Jafar, having previously been destroyed at the next movie, returns in 1 episode which serves as a crossover with Hercules: The Animated Series.
Many of the films' stars supplied the listeners of these TV counterparts, with the exception of Dan Castellaneta. Unlike The Little Mermaid spin off show, this show does not feature any music amounts.
The show originally aired on Saturday mornings and on the syndicated The Disney Afternoon block on CBS. Before it was substituted with their preteen lineup, disney Channel reran the series. The show was shown on Toon Disney, but has been removed.
