Arctic Circle

During a regular search of an abandoned cabin in the isolated and wintery back country, Nina Kautsalo, a Finnish policewoman, uncovers two dead prostitutes and a third who is still battling for her life. When an exceedingly uncommon and dangerous virus is identified in the bloodwork of the surviving woman, the investigation takes an unexpected turn. When the investigation is taken over by the Finnish Bureau of Investigation, German virologist Thomas Lorenz is called in to assist in identifying and containing the virus. Nina and Thomas must rely on one other to save those they care about amid the vast white expanse of the Arctic Circle. But which comes first? Is it a lethal virus or an active serial killer?
