It had been created by Charles/Burrows/Charles Productions in association with Paramount Network Television for NBC and made by the group of Glen Charles, James Burrows, and Les Charles. The series is set at a pub by which a group of sailors match to unwind, drink, and interact named Cheers at Boston, Massachusetts.
