Getting Together

Getting Together is an American position comedy, which aired on the ABC television network. It celebrities Wes Stern as Bobby Conway along with Bobby Sherman a songwriting duo, along with Lionel Poindexter. The pilot to the series had aired the preceding spring the first season finale episode of The Partridge Family called"A royal prince", where Lionel and Bobby were introduced into each other by the Partridges. Sherman along with Stern's personalities were allegedly based on the songwriting team of Boyce and Hart, who had written hits for The Monkees, both Jay and the Americans, along with others. New music obviously was a staple of this series, supplied with much of the team that created records and the Partridge Family songs. Most of these songs were from two Bobby Sherman albums.
