Iron Man: Armored Adventures
The Marvel Comics character Iron Man serves as the inspiration for the animated 3D computer-generated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures. On April 24, 2009, it made its premiere in the United States on the network Nicktoons, while it has already begun broadcasting on the network Teletoon in Canada. Nickelodeon began airing "Iron Man: Armored Adventures" on July 4, 2009, and continued to do so until September 12, 2009. Showrunner Christopher Yost, who has also contributed to Wolverine and the X-Men as well as a wide variety of other Marvel Animation productions, is in charge of editing the series' stories. There is no connection between the animated film The Invincible Iron Man from 2007 and the television show; nonetheless, several elements of the tale are similar, and the show employs the same musical soundtrack as the film in some places. The show also has a different voice cast than the film. Iron Man ran on television from 1994 to 1996, so this is the first Iron Man television series since then. Production on the show began after the success of the live-action Iron Man picture. The plot of the series revolves around the exploits of Tony Stark, a child genius who is now an adult, and his alter identity, Iron Man. As Iron Man, he employs his technological innovations in the struggle against a variety of adversaries that are also highly advanced. His loyal companions, James "Rhodey" Rhodes and Pepper Potts, are always there to provide a helping hand during his heroic and perilous exploits.
