Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You

Kuronuma Sawako's classmates entirely misunderstand her. It's not uncommon for people to misinterpret her soft-spoken attitude as a sign of malice. Her similarity to the ghost girl from "The Ring" has caused her peers to give her the nickname Sadako. Kazehaya Shouta, the most popular guy in the class, has a "100 percent refreshing" demeanor, which draws Sawako's adoration because of her desire to make friends and lead a regular life. Kazehaya's conversation with Sawako gives Sawako optimism that she can finally have the friendships she's always wanted to have. There may even be a glimmer of hope for a future romance for her.
