Best friends Lizzy (homosexual and a bit typea ) and Luke (directly and more laidback ) are similar to family. Once they were children and their parents both got divorces , they stuck together, plus they have been there for each other from the time. Now, all grown up and still single, they have made a decision to begin a group in their own. No, not just like that (you can find some lines they won't cross) - we're discussing the non-romantic, go-to-the-doctor's-office-type of baby-making. Then one night, after yet another failed attempt at conception, both go to a pub to let some steam off. That's where Luke matches with Prudence. Lizzy isn't a huge fan - it might have something related to Prudence waltzing around their flat nude - but Luke hits it off with her... and next thing he knows, they're spending every last minute of her small period together. But only as Lizzy discovers that she is actually pregnant, Luke declares that he and Prudence got married. Ta Da! An alternative sort of family exists.
