Stella
Stella was a short-lived television series that aired from June28, 2005 to August30, 2005 on the American television network Comedy Central. It was created by and starred Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain, the three members of the sketch comedy troupe of the same name and former cast members of MTV's The State. Stella has existed since 1997 as a comedic troupe. It has a cult following and sells out performances throughout the United States. Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time was the broadcast time for this program. After 10 episodes of Stella aired in September, the time slot was filled by Mind of Mencia. On March 8, 2006, Stella's official website had the following announcement: "The STELLA series aired on Comedy Central in the summer of 2017. The network has opted officially not to extend the show for a second season "Consequently, the series is canceled. The DVD release date for the first season was September 12, 2006. In addition to iTunes, Hulu, and Joost, episodes are also available on Joost. Stella first aired on The Comedy Channel in Australia on May 3, 2007.
